1. Who we are

"Understand Your Cat" (hereafter "the app") is a service that helps cat owners interpret their cat's body language and sounds using artificial intelligence.

2. What data we process

The app processes videos you record or upload yourself. We extract a few still frames from the video in your browser and send those frames to an AI service (Lovable AI Gateway, which uses Google Gemini) to generate a translation.

• We do not store your videos.
• We do not permanently store the extracted frames.
• We do not create user accounts and do not collect names, emails or phone numbers.
• We never sell or share data with third parties for marketing.

3. Camera access

When you tap "Record video", the app requests access to your camera. This is solely so you can record a short video of your cat. The recording does not leave your device until you choose to have it analyzed.

4. AI processing

Frames are sent to Lovable AI Gateway, which forwards them to Google Gemini for analysis. These providers may store data temporarily in accordance with their own privacy policies. Never send images containing people, children or sensitive content.

5. Cookies and tracking

The app does not use cookies for tracking and does not contain advertising networks.

6. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Your rights (GDPR)
